This morning I wanted to make a few strike plates to compare something so I decided to do a original from a 1959 Bear leather strike plate template I made and then another for a RKKorte 59 template I made as well . I then put a Bear imprint then dyed one color which I’m kind of liking with the 5 lines . What are your thoughts with the Bear imprint ? Some folks like them some don’t .I am on the fence myself but with this one color I sort of liking it myself. The original one on left is 2-1/8” wide but the one on the right is just at 2” and I raised the Bear imprint just a little higher so the paws weren’t being hidden by a feather rest if someone has them on their shelf .

Either is still nice , new design gives folks more cut off adj from the bottom . Myself I like the original on left better . Just me two cents .

Keefers you do nice work. You may want to think about strike plates for Indian and Shakespeare as well.

Frank thank you for the kind words I appreciate that. I would take it you mean the Indian head pattern on some of the Indian brand bows and the arrow head on the Shakespeare correct? May have to look into that .
