Hey all. I’m looking for advice on a good traditional archery shop in Mesa or Phoenix Arizona. Preferably Mesa but can’t seem to find one online.

I have my grown kids a recurve and longbow each with arrows and all, but one set of arrows didn’t have nocks yet. They are glue on. Looking for somewhere for my kids to go get advice and shoot at a good range there. Ben Avery is awesome but too far for regular practice for them.

Thank you for any advice! Brian in NM

Thank you for the link Dennis. That’s still quite a ways from them but maybe they will join and get some tips anyways. Looking for somewhere to shoot in Mesa that has some trad shooters coming on occasion.

If he’s still alive, Steve Shoke at four peaks archery in Mesa. I just looked and his website is still current. The street looks like an alleyway but it’s a real street in old downtown Mesa. Just don’t talk politics.

Steve is a character. +1 if Four Peaks is still there, been 20+ years since I’ve been in the shop.

Looks like they may still be in business. I will call them tomorrow and see how it goes. Just found a couple of other outdoor ranges in the area as well. Not sure why I was having such a hard time earlier.
