NEET archery items seem to be very popular on here, mentioned often in posts. The company has been around a long time having celebrated 65 years in business in 2021.

A catalog received this week from a traditional archery retailer mentions NEET closed their doors in 2023. A search found no other mention of this but another archery retailer has all their NEET items on sale which may be a confirmation of this.

I talked to them on the phone when trying to order some tabs. That’s what they told me.

DRATS! When You find quality that You like, buy as much as possible. No telling when the business will go belly up.

Wyandotte is another old one, still in business I think. Bought one of their quivers A few years ago, nice. A shame about Neet.

Sounds like they may have priced themselves out of the market by being too good a value…. It’s amazing how often a superior product will get zero respect just because it’s underpriced…

Janice and I visited Brenda at Neet Products just two months before she closed her doors. The decision to close was due to multiple issues, including the resignation of her right hand man, and price competition from Asia.

Sorry to see that happen. Surprised it wasn’t sold as it seemed to be a profitable business. I’ve bought and used Neet Products for decades.

Neet makes the shooting glove I've been using for decades. I tend to stock up on things I like and will use into the future. I have plenty of XL Neet shooting gloves.

Any of the few archery manufacturers I patronize can close shop if they see fit, about half of them already have, and it doesn't matter. I'm well stocked.

Always think 3 steps ahead.

I loved and shot their tabs for years. I hope I have extra!

I have also used their shooting gloves for years. That is sad news.

I have been shooting their Super Leather tab for about 30 years. I've tried others and gloves, but I've always come back to the NEET tab. I'm now glad I bought extras when I did. This is really sad to hear! DANNY

Same here on Neet tabs. I tried a tab back in 70's, and thought how ridiculous compared to my glove! Never touched one again until a year ago, I'd had all kinds of shooting problems. Had pretty well worked it all out, but was still struggling with my release, conscious of it too much. I bought a Neet calfhair, cheap, just to try. Wow, now I'll never look back, and in the woods hunting I like it even better! I love the finger spacer, not so much the release aspect, as to it just puts the tab right where it needs to be without thinking! So I went back got another calfhair and a superleather to try. Now, I like either really, but only slightly prefer the calfhair. But I can change amongst the 3 with no real problem! I'm better try round up few more in reserve sounds like now!

I get that things change but this really has made me angry and sad. Neet gloves were my favorite. Won't use anything else.

I will miss the Neet Kant pinch tabs, my favorite. I can make my own, easier to buy them though

I am with you Jeff. Neet is my go to glove. When I couldn't get on their website, I got nervous, and bought up three that I found elsewhere. Sorry to hear they are gone.

Dang, I'm another that used Neet gloves... I always liked Neet products...

Neet made some of the Black Widow products, like the PDQ glove.

In the past year, I think we lost Kwikee and now Neet. Two companies that I've used for decades. Nothing seems to equal those lost companies. Seems trad is still declining, while cross-guns and four-digit compounds take over. Just shaking my head as the basics get shelved.

I bragged on the Neet Tab, and that's what I use now. But 99% of the gloves I used since IDK, late 70's or early 80's where Neet, couple different styles. One time, about 2004, I ordered the Alaskan Bowhunting Superglove. Forced my self to use it a while, then gladly gave up and went back to Neet. I've still got about 4, couple in still good shape! NY favorite was the elastic back, double seam, best glove I ever used. Both plain leather or the tip overlays!

I worked for a 100+ year old company that went belly up I all ways wondering if that CEO put that on his next resume ~ The Archery business now days is a tough market I don’t believe it is expanding just holding its own We are only getting older and kids these days well we won’t go down that road

With the acceptance of Releases for shooting bows, it was only a matter of time. The Traditional community, are the only ones who have a reason to buy Shooting Gloves, Tabs, feathers, leather arm guards, and the like. Yes there are some converting but not at the rate needed to keep these companies in business. The only other archery related sport that would use shooting tabs would be Olympic Style finger shooters, but even theirs are specialized and pricey. The really sad part is once these companies close their doors that's it and fewer choices for us. MAYBEEEE someone would be willing to buy the pattern for their Gloves and Tabs to sell under a new or existing brand using the same or similar materials. We can only hope. DANNY
