Want to spray my tree stand this year and was wondering if satin finish is to shiney. The ultra flats are not durable at all.

I also wondered about the textured spray paints. Anyone use those?

Might look at some bed liner type paint. I’ve used it on some digging tool handles and it worked pretty good when it completely dried.

I used a can of clear satin poly for my bow limbs. Still to shiney for me. Went over them with fine steel wool. Problem solved.

Bill, next time you spray a bow on the final coat trying holding the can at least 14-16" away from the bow and move it fast. It will give a bit of a spatter/frosty finish that wont shine.

My choice would most certainly would be the textured paint for a tree stand, you can always touch them up as needed.
