For those interested, and feel up to some hill climbing and bow shooting. It's a mixed shoot but lots of traditional archers go as well.

Sounds like a good time but two months after my hip replacement surgery I'm not ready for any hill climbing yet. But on the bright side I'm doing better day by day. :)

I could climb the hills just fine but I don't think I could shoot the full course with my shoulder quite yet.

Nemo, I'll carry you up the hills and you do the shooting LOL.

On second thought, I'll just come over and we'll shoot in your yard.

I believe there’s one up in VT this weekend, also - or something similar.

One of the guys on Bowsite CT page has an extra ticket due to a cancellation…

I’ll be on a road-trip headed the opposite direction, so haven’t looked into it.

Sounds like a good event, though- apparently there’s a “short course” for Trad types where the shots top out at 40. I wonder if that’s a different course or just a different stake? It’d be fun to shoot the long targets for grins and keep a scorecard as the Reality Check….. but I don’t know if that would even be allowed… don’t get out much ;)

Corax, they usually have several different ranges, at least they do at Seven Springs. Back in the 70's and 80's, they had the State Field Championship there, where you shot three courses over the weekend..28 Field, 28 Hunter and 28 Animal. It was taxing on even some of the younger guys but was loads of fun. I shot there pretty much until they moved the States to Mechanicsburg.

I’d like to meet those two guys as well.
