I gave these people my $20 last April. I have never received a magazine. It appears none has been printed since the Summer 2022 issue. My emails requesting a refund get bounced back. Are they out of business or was I scammed?

The same here. I sent a payment for $52 in November. No response to phone calls or emails. Buyers Beware !

You were scammed. Recurves and longbows still owes me money. I would have been locked up for doing that in my business

Hi,

I was in contact with one of the former editors of TradArcher's World Magazine because I was trying to purchase back issues . . . I asked him about the magazine and what was happening with it and this was his reply:

"From what I understand he (the editor in chief and owner) intends to start publishing TAW solely on-line, and not offering a hard copy magazine anymore. Did say something about continuing with some of the same regular writers and posting updates on social media. That’s about all I can relay right now".

Hope this is of some help.

Well, like a lot of these traditional archery magazines of the past, it was good while it lasted. I really liked the simplified content and local type hunting stories.

Tom's wife passed away last year and I'm sure her absence is greatly felt in the operation. If Tom must adapt then so be it. Refunds for undelivered subscriptions would be appreciated.

I will not subscribe to an on-line format.

I would do online but I want my $20 back first.

As far as I am concerned it is fraud and cases should be brought against the owners of this magazine and Primitive Archer.

You pay for a printed magazine copy and then they substitute that with on line version.

Speaking of Primitive Archer, they went to an E mag last June as I remember, which I paid for. Hane seen only the Nov/Dec issue since then.

Is on-line more work for the publisher? I liked going to B&N to get a copy of PA, I'll miss that.

I purchased a digital back issue of Trad Archers World last week and transaction was smooth and uneventful…

I have met Tom and hunted with him..seemed like a very nice fellow and hard to believe he would defraud anyone...I am sure he will get things sorted out...I would try and contact him and see what is going on...did not know he had lost his wife. That in itself could be a major problem for him since they pretty much handled everything themselves...

He should issue refunds no excuses.

Should I burn those old issues then? :)) Lots of archery mags I have saved, who can read these days? :))
