Hello, Looking for information about these Bows....Not much online about the Old timer. I need a bow with a medium grip. Thank You.

Ask the bowyer if the design will accommodate a meduim, or if he can make the grip to your specs.

Rich will do the grip anyway you want. Just contact him and discuss with him what you want. I had him do a "locater grip" on one of my heavier longbows and it turned out great. There is a Yellowstone Old Timer that was just listed in the Classifieds

I found Rich very easy to work with. I don’t have an Old Timer, but I really enjoy my Half Breed and Hunter.

Blake Smith is building the Old Timer and Yellowstone Longbows for Rich and he is a true Craftsman. Rich is just building the Hunter model and Blake is building the others. Rich and Blake would never let a bow go to anyone unless it was perfect. The workmanship is on par with only the elite bowyers out there and if you put cost into the equation it's not even close!

Blake built my Old Timer and did a wonderful job. I found Yellowstone bows to be reasonably priced and build time is not too long. I love my Old Timer it's my favorite bow to shoot. Blake is an easy guy to talk to and is eager to answer Questions or just talk archery. You wont be disappointed.

I concur w Bigbull. I received a ol timer from Blake a couple of months ago. Its very nice. Really good shooter and he can build the handle as you ask.

Blake is the man….he made a really nice stock old timer that I scooped up.
