66"ttt 53#@28" osage, really nice shooting bow. I had made a recurve for myself out of a stave from this tree about a year ago and was impressed so had to try a longbow and turned out as I had hoped. Have also made a couple left hand bows out of it just some really good wood. Osage came from a friend just south of Columbia Tennessee.

Darin is the only student that I ran through my shop that took the ball and ran with it as a bow maker, he made a fine bowyer.

He has made a pile of bows and gives most of them away to people he knows who show an interest in shooting a selfbow.

Nice tiller on that one.

Eric, you are one ahead of me. I've had many over and not one continued on after the single bow was made with me. Now? I wont spend the time unless I see a definitive fire already burning. Which is never :)

Thanks for all the nice comments, funny thing about tiller is all I do is remove wood where Erics tillering gizmo tells me. Really is a great tool for bowyer.
