New to me Locksley Tiger came today. Specs are 55@28 and 64" I assume this to be a 1963 model made by Ben Pearson. Appears to have been refinished but nicely done.

My son had one that I played with for a good while. It wasn't the tiger ,but very similar.Hard shooter,an comfy to shoot. Was supposed to have been Pearson's truck line of bows. That is a keeper. Congrads.

Very nice Cody. I haven't seen one like that before. But then again I'm sort of on the young side of old. Lol. JF

Jeff, you are only as old as you allow yourself to be. I have a very good family friend who is almost 80 and he still carries a chainsaw to the woods and does all his own splitting. The man is tough as nails and the kindest gentleman I know. If anyone has additional information on the Locksley bows or knows more about manufacture date I would like to be educated. This bow has the Cat# of 975 which is the same as the Ben Pearson Mustang. I doubt that is coincidental, but there is not a lot of information out there that I have found. Thanks for the compliments.

Locksley was a bow co. in little Rock Arkansas. It was taken over by Pearson in the 50's.

If I remember right, the Locksley line of bows were produced on some of the same forms as some of Ben Pearson's more "pricey" bows.

I think this Locksley Tiger was built on the same form as the Palomino and when comparing them side to side they do look like very very similar profiles, if not identical.
