Does anyone have a list of the years they produced the different risers as far as the green stripes, red stripes etc?

Jorge Coppen has a book, available on Amazon. It’s the best reference on Bear bows and years, I sold mine away or I could help you

I don't know of a list, but if you want to look through the old Bear Archery catalogs, many are available at vintagearchery.org under the Library tab.

Yep, up until 1975 anyway, the old catalogs are the best way to find information, and many other catalogs are there as well. It's a cost-free library basically. http://www.vintagearchery.org

That book has been out for a while now (since 2016). It is a good book. I also have all the Bear Archery catalogs from the 1940s to present in either paper or digital, some in both. Plus, I have a whole bunch of other Bear Archery information on file on my computer that I've collected over many years. And I have a bunch of books on Bear Archery and Fred Bear. And the record Fred Bear's secrets of hunting. I've been a member of the Fred Bear Sports Club since the mid-1980s. I have no shortage of Bear Archery stuff. And since the year 2000 I've shot, and bow hunted with Bear bows only except for my frankenbow which is only half a Bear bow.

Thank you for the references I will check them out. I just wanted to see when the black futurewood risers with the red stripe were made and haven’t been able to find it . I was thinking early 2000s?

The dymondwood red stripes were made starting in 2011. I'm not sure when the red stripes ended and the black stripes started, I'd have to look that up. Before the red stripes were the brown stripes (1996 to 2010). The green stripes were from 1981 to around 1985. Then there was a green/brown stripe from 1986 to 1989.
My bows pictured left to right: 1984 Green Stripe, 1989 Green/Brown Stripe, 1996 and 1997 Brown Stripes, and 2016 Red Stripe.

Darryl, I do have quite a bit of Bear Archery stuff. I've been shooting Bear bows since 1969. Here is a gift Monkeyball made for me.

Droptine thanks. What I posted is about 1/3 (I'm guessing) of the Bear Archery stuff I own. Pictured is my sign going into my game room. :)

Didn't realize there was a camo Green Stripe, can you still get a camo bow from Bear?

Mike in the past you could get pretty much any Bear bow painted camouflage, it was an option. Now days it's not an option. But every now and then Bear Archery will offer a camo bow like my 1999 Bear Grizzly (pictured). But it was only offered that one year. Bear does offer the new aluminum A and B risers and the Fred Eichler Signature Series risers in camouflage.

This is my rarest bird. It's my 1996 Bear Kodiak Takedown in traditional camo according to Bear Archery. When I would go to 3D shoots or ETAR someone would always offer to buy it. After numerous offers I wondered why there was so much interest since it was just a Bear Kodiak Takedown. I called Bear Archery and ask the employee who answered the phone. He said he didn't know but he would transfer my call to someone who would. He transferred my call to Frank Scott. Frank Scott told me less than twenty-five 1996 Bear Kodiak Takedowns were made in the traditional camo finish then Bear Archery decided to stop offering it in the traditional camo.
