Does anyone know how to interpret a 4-digit serial number on Martin/ Howatt bows?

If you ask over on the Damon Howatt bow owners group there a handful of people who can answer this for ya. It may help to actually post the serial number as well

Peter Denley (Pdiddly2) should be along to help. He and some others cracked the code on Howatt numbers. But it will involve more than just the 4-digit number. A photo will help a lot.
