I discovered when trying to order Snap Nocks that they are no longer being made and the available stock of them at various online sellers is dwindling. How do the Snap Nocks differ from Marco Nocks, if you know? Are Nirk Nocks still being sold? Source?

I think i have a bag of Nirks. I'll get a pic up for opinions on what exactly they are.

Not sure what you mean by Snap Nocks. Marco nocks snap on the string as do AAE and Bohning- which has a model with or without an index for alignment. The Marco nocks which I like have a slightly tighter fit, Bohning- is a shade looser. All are readily available through various shops.

When you say snap nocks which brand? I use AAE and buy them direct without any issues. Don’t know about Marco, haven’t seen those advertised since F&S Arrows changed hands.

I can't find them either!

AAE way too tight Old snap nocks perfect Bohning classic nocks way too loose

I think some vendors call Marco nocks snap nocks.

Vendor's for Mercury Nocks?? (11/32)

Vendor's for Nirk Nocks?? (11/32)

Vendor's for Marco Nucks?? (11/32)

I've seen same photo used to describe the Snap on Nocks and Marco Nocks from different venders . . . so are they the same nock?

I believe I read somewhere back on another thread that the maker of Marco nocks had also discontinued making them. Don't know if that's true, but there is likely enough old stock (if true) to last a very long time.

I’ve bought Marco nocks from The Footed Shaft and from Wapiti Archery. They are called snap nocks by The Footed Shaft and Marco snap nocks by Wapiti. Can’t really speak what other vendors call them if they carry them at all. I bought up enough to last when someone posted on here a while back that they would no longer be made.

I use marco snap nocks for my woodies when I don't make a self nock.. they fit tighter than bohning classic nocks. I originally bought mine from a booth at the Traditional Archers of Oregon shoot a few years back owned by the son of one of the Sherwood Shaft guys.. I've also seen them advertised at Wapiti Archery and on ebay. Here's what mine look like..
