Sometimes your never to old to act like a kid. Let me start by saying that my wife thought that my cheese slipped off my cracker when I asked her to take pictures. After a few shots this evening the kid in me (me being 60) decided to try a Howard Hill exhibition shot by laying across my stool much like he did as part of his show . This was way more challenging than I had ever anticipated...... especially on a belly full of beer but everything went off without a hitch and I surprised myself at the results. We all get old but that doesn't mean we have totally grow up. Here's full draw.

Here's the results. Not bad for an old kid with a belly full of beer.

Forgot to mention the shots were from 15 yards.

Way to go. It looks like you got that stool just the right height for elevation.:<) >>>---> Ken

I agree Paul. If you feel good. Don’t let your age hold you back. If you had fun doing it as a kid. You will have much more fun doing it over 60. I went frogging yesterday and today and I had a blast. Plus I got a tasty meal as a bonus. Paul that’s some nice shooting!:)

Good for you Moleman ...you made me smile! I've done that shooting laying stomach flat on the ground and also on my back. Many more contorted variations just for the fun of it. You name it, I've tried it. Skill tests I call them.;) Fun stuff!

Thanks everyone. Howard Hill fared far better than I did but it was fun to try shooting from that position.

It’s what it’s all about at any age. ;^)

A teenager with a belly full of beer would be proud of that.

I think I will have a cold one and step outside and fling a few under my night light.

Cheers!

Good job! Age is just a number, turned 62 on 26th of July and still doing shots I would not have attempted years earlier, I still feel like I’m 25 when doing it ! ( in my mind anyways)

I retired at 60 , still not knowing what I wanted to do when I grew up.

According to my wife's words "grow up, your 60 years old"!!! Na, feeling like a kid is better.

Nice shooting. Having fun is what it is all about as far as I am concerned. I'm 76 and not sure if I could do it but I may have to give it a whirl.

Good show. I haven't tried that shot for a long time. Maybe should! All our friends said I and my wife would grow up with our kids........ but we didn't! 8^)

MacQuarrie wrote this about the president of the old duck hunters association...There was something of the boy about him which most men pretend to outgrow, and, doing so thus become old. My grandson got a bb gun from his dad and a 410 from me. My sons in their 40's and I at 64 had a blast firing a few hundred BB's. A kid at heart! Good shooting Moleman.
