These Pearson bows are very good shooters! I have a Lord Sovereign that is a nice shooting bow.

Found out that is NOT a Contender Riser. According to Facebook, it wasn’t uncommon to make bows with what, means available that day. The riser is just like a 1969 Lord Sovereign. They had orders for Contenders so put Contender sticker on!

Maybe not a one of a kind but very unique!

Damn spellcheck. It was fdp. Here on the wall. Facebook has nothing to do with it.

model no. 1091 seems to have been used for the '67 Sovereign "Prince" ....

.... & that serial no. 173550 suggests to me it was finished in Jan '73, perhaps to clear old stock & make way for the "hyper-kinetic" limbed bows & they just happened to have "Contender" decals/stencil spare from the '71-'72 production? ;-)
