the last time that ol' Buck visited me, i built a footed arrow that shot well from the bow, and sent it along for the ride. the arrow eventually came home, albeit in pieces, lol. i was just wondering if there was a story behind its demise, or was it just the normal end of the line for a wooden arrow? i pull it out now & then, just to read the names inscribed along the shaft, wondering what it had seen and done before the end. thanks in advance. inquiring minds etc...

Charles, I think the same when I look at the names on Ol' Buck, and they are starting to fade as well, some more than others. What's amazing is that in his travels, actually over a six year span, is he still is able to cast an arrow and relatively lively as well, even with his battle scars. Hang on to that arrow, it will always have a story.
