Anybody cut these down to 75gr? If so how much did you cut off?

No, but you can Google Bloodsport 75gr brass arrow inserts and maybe find what you need.

I would think a hacksaw would work just fine. Getting them all exactly the same weight might be the challenge.

Be a PIA to match the weight, I'd just buy some 75's and save the 100's for when you need them.

If you cut one an its a little less or little more, its not gonna make a difference.. a least for me its not.

'rough' cut them a bit heavy and finish on a bench grinder to exact weight.

Personally I'd use 50 grain-ers and heavier heads.

DanaC thats what im going to do, 150 head 50 grain insert.

I'd have a hard time worrying about 25grs. in a hunting arrow.

fdp I agree. Even 50 grains for that matter.

I didnt either until i saw what 25 grains did to my bare shaft.

Broadheads ain't going to be exact either so.

MMmmmmmm......I've not had 25grs. make that much a of a dynamic difference on a bareshaft. Take that in conjunction with the fact that your draw length in all likelihood will vary by 1/2" or more on every shot, and as mentioned above the broadheads aren't going to be perfect and the 25gr. difference is pretty well negated/unimportant. Then you have the whole question of is whatever you are seeing actually caused by 25grs. of point weight (which I personally doubt) or is it a personal form thing.

25grs. isn't even a spine group change when shooting wooden shafts.

There comes a time when the madness has to stop.

But if you have plenty of time you can certainly use it up messing with that stuff.

If I had a bunch of them I'd use hacksaw and file to get them to 75 grs, otherwise I'd do what David said and buy 75 grain inserts. When tuning, 25 grains makes a difference to me (could be dynamics related to my form or maybe higher expectations). Guess we all have our standards of what is acceptable in tuning. My confidence goes up when I'm well tuned, so if 75 grains is what I need I'll get there one way or the other. Keep in mind that if you're using a longer insert it will dynamically stiffen the arrow and a shorter insert will give the arrow more length to flex making it a bit weaker.
