Thanks everyone. Never used white stain before either so was nervous it wouldn’t be bright white enough but did take 3 coats to get the white I wanted. Also first time useing natural feathers instead of farm raised so over all I’m happy with them. The green stain was from lost nation archery if anyone is interested.

Looking very nice indeed. How did you find that stain to work with? Any bleed problems? I've been planning to put in an order with Lost nation soon.

Don't shoot 'em into the (green) grass! I know that's the first thing I'd do and lose a couple ! Way too pretty for that.

I love the patience it takes to do that, and they are beautiful. I don't have the patience nor the talent to do that, and I would mess them up for sure.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. Idk why but when I make arrows it’s a labor of love. I do Need to get better at straightening as that is my week spot in making arrows. But 20 yards is my max so they are fine. I’ll try to answer the few questions I’ve gotten.

The green stain is from Lost Nation and is the stalker stain

The white stain is just hardware store min wax white

And hardware store wipe on poly from min wax also

Funny thing too is I just a get a general plan in my head on what I wanna make but I always veer from it and kinda just wing it so to speak on the final design. I have a idea for the next batch but I’m up to 4 dozen now so really don’t need any but I do enjoy making them. Having only one fletching jig sucks as it takes forever to do them one at a time. I do need a green glass ASL now to match :) hint hint anyone lol

They look great!!, An FYI, I started using fletching tape on my woodies. It was the slickest thing ever. I broke a lot of them and they would have basically brand new fletching on them. Someone on here mentioned using dental floss to remove taped fletching and how slick it was. Boy, is it ever slick, pops them right off. For me, the tape worked from summer heat upwards of 90 degs to winter cold of single digits.
