Other than bow mounted quivers

What type of quiver do y’all like for 3d?

looking for one that is capable of carrying water, snacks and tools for extended periods out on the range.

Back quiver and shoulder bag.

David My shoulder bag fits 2 bottles of water, lunch, snacks, and several other items easily and doesn't get in the way of my back quiver. Easy to reach in and grab something without removing my quiver.

Not sure what kind of quiver will carry all the things you listed plus arrows in one package for 3D.

Any back quiver, but preferably one with the extra strap to keep the quiver snug without sagging. This extra strap is not as traditional as the simple single strap, but the nudge with the bow is not necessary with that additional strap. JMO, but I thing a sagging back quiver looks bad, and lots of other shooters will see it at a 3D.

That said, many 3D competitors use the opportunity to mimic hunting conditions so they use the quiver they use for hunting, even bow quivers. Others are focused on a high score, so they use what help them shoot their very best. I just like back quiver for all archery endeavors.

Very often just a pocket quiver with four arrows, especially in hot weather. Never really felt the need to carry food on a 3d course - maybe a bottle of water stuffed in a cargo pocket.

Hip quiver with pouch for spare nocks, points, and arrow puller. Water bottle in carrier on my belt. I travel as lite as possible. I am amazed at people carrying packs, chairs, coolers. It’s a shoot not a camping party.

I should have added that I plan to shoot the total archery challenge in Tennessee this year. He says the Courses can take 4 to 6 hrs to complete.

The walking is pretty challenging in itself from what I gather. Definitely need to go lite but at same time have everything you might need because you ain’t just running back to the truck to get it once you are out there.

I use an old Neet hip quiver attached to a small fanny pack that holds water, extra string and stringer, serving and allen wrenches that fit my bow and a small leatherman. The fanny pack is small, has the water bottle in the center with two pouches on either side. It's small and does a perfect job.

well i've seen guys carrying a big back pack on 3-d courses, never could figure that one out! lol of course maybe they were doing it for exercise? most of the shoots i've been to have a snack and water station about 1/2 way thru. really all i need is my arrows ,bow, and shooting tab and of course my clothes on my back.

My bowmate elite side draw quiver. The accessory pocket holds everything i need.

This Cedar Ridge Roving quiver carries tools and the belt carries a folding knife, water bottle holder, towel or wool arrow cleaner. It works great.

Well the total archery challenge is a whole different topic than a generic 3D shoot. Especially where some of them are held.

If In the mountains. A water bladder like a camel back would be good, some lightweight energy bars or snacks aren't a bad idea. Small back pack that doesn’t impede shooting.

I also noticed an old bow hanger on the belt. These are the tools I carry in it.

I really like my Vista Hombre field quiver.

Its light and durable, the picture has the main features identified.

Only down side is that my cousin and his buddies have more traditional outfits without a lot of pockets and I get volunteered to carry the scorecards ;)
