Black Hunter Wild Flame takedown recurve, 60" long, aluminum riser. I did a search here and found nothing. Does anyone have experience with this bow?

I'm considering one for an intro to archery class, no politics please.

I think it’s the same bow as a Kainokai. YouTube has some reviews of the Kainokai (mostly positive) . Biggest issue was the noise level which I think the reviewers were able to resolve. On Amazon I’ve seen it for $99.00. The Kainokai on Amazon is $59.99 shipped. At that price I’m considering buying one. Hope this helps.

The hole limb line up for limbs can be different with China bows. Bought Junxsing limbs for a Sage riser, and the holes didn't line up. I made them work by cutting the riser back to make them fit.I don't know how durable they are ,but good so far. I put the Sage limbs on a Black Bear riser. They look to be of better quality. Time will tell. For that price the bow above should be a good starter bow.

A friend at the club I belong to bought the 60" Kainokai. His bow broke, so he needed one, and on a fixed income, what he saw in the YouTube videos and its cost he bought one from Amazon and had it in under a week. The bow is a louder than a wood bow but from what I have seen, it is no louder than any other metal risers I seen, at least my Hoyt GameMaster II. He padded the limb pockets with Velcro to help. He is using the factory string which is endless loop but we are not sure what the material is. He thinks B55, I am thinking D97, we aren't taking a pair of finger nail clippers to find out. Or at least he won't let me :'). He shoots the bow very well, it appears to be quick for the 45#@28" limbs he got, and his arrows are 9- 10/lb of draw weight. It won't take Sage limbs or Black Hunter limbs. As long as the limbs hold up the bow is a really good bow for the money. At $60 plus tax delivered, even if the limbs blow, it is cheaper buy a new one. It's cheaper than buying just the limbs from other companies. There is no left hand option for this bow. As for draw it drew smooth to my 30" draw, I shot it about 1/2 dozen times. I am really beginning to wish he hadn't bought the bow, he is beginning to make me look bad he shoots it so well. DANNY

I have one, not sure what brand it is called, got it from Amazon for under $60. I have not shot it a lot, but it does shoot great! No idea how long it will last!

Here is the business end of the Kainokai. This marketing photo reminds me of all of those pictures of Fred Bear.
