Found this knife to go in my quiver sheath. Guy said it was a queen brand, but I saw no markings. It was in an estwing sheath. But for $8 I mean why not…

I would've guessed western? I love finding vintage USA steel!either way Kabar, western ,or Queen good little knife right there!

For me the squared pommel excludes Western, Schrade, Queen and Case. I have seen squared pommels like that on A few KABAR’s but they had finger grooves in the leather. It could very well be made for or by Estwing. It’s close to one that I have (somewhere, or I’d include a photo). Nice find for $8. Sharpen it up and start using it. Lance.

I had a Western that looked very much like that in the 70's and I loved that knife. I lost it some how and always wanted another like it. Good looking knife.

Vintage Queen City Cutlery/Queen Cutlery knives do indeed have square pommels. The Estwings I've seen were more rounded, but maybe they did make some square ones too, I just haven't seen one but I'm certainly no knife expert.
