I’m looking at a 1972 Bear Victor. Anyone know much about them. They were only made in 1972. When looking at the photos I noticed it has no coin. It doesn’t have the recess for the brass or aluminum coin. There is no hole for the button type either? Have you seen this before in Bear bows?

Which bow is it?

But here is a link to the 1972 catalog;

Victor owned Bear but I never knew of a bow model named Victor. Nemo would probably know.

I have a Bear/Victor Patriot recurve with Fascor limbs, I believe it was made in 1972. More of a target bow.

if the one on page 13 of below.. looks like they took the dyed blue patriot, used stock shedua instead, and called it Victor. Weights offered are same, Marketing language is even similar "olympic hopefuls." Just a guess.

If it is the Patriot with another label, they are fine little bows, I had one and sold as I prefer longer bows for my mainly target practice work. The fellow that bought it did so for a friend, feedback was friend loved the bow.

It was only made in 1972. It was the final version of the Tamerlane.
