Yes, used my latest ST*R release. I can't shoot short bows worth a darn with tab/glove due to finger pinch, but I also prefer it on all my bows even 70". Best feeling and quietest of all; bottom line more fun.

I did trick the Bear Mag. out with a special short tungsten stabilizer for extra mass. Not my preferred bow, however - it's a bit slow.

Thx. for comments sorry I'm not online much.

David I know some guys out in the desert right now who will be very jealous.

Well regardless of how the STAR aligns, that's a mighty fine buck. Congratulations!

From: grizz
Date: 10-Jan-22

Nice buck but sure seems more like the STIR method.

Congrats!

From: Randog

Congrats on a great buck. ?? short bows.

From: David A.
Date: 10-Jan-22

The release is in the pic...can you spot it? So much better than the earlier version, but how it is used is critical and the secret as I have always said is right there in your own hand. I will be giving some away for testers later on.

David is the real deal. I have shot some of his releases & he has shared some of the star method with me. I am not sure if there is something new & improved. He gets out of touch for months at a time. He back backs for days on end just scouting an area not to mention the actual hunting time. Very few compare with the quality of game that he takes. >>>>------> Ken

Now that is a damm good mule deer congrats. Widow

Congratulations David, awesome buck!

From: Stickmark

That mule deer terrain, higher desert, is tough to hunt. Not surprised to hear extensive scouting is key. Nice mulie. You harvest a lot of these bucks; I am impressed.

From: George D. Stout
Date: 11-Jan-22

Well done David. Not surprised.

From: JustinB
Date: 11-Jan-22

Is the release that round thing on the top limb? Nothing else looks suspicious other than maybe two wrist/bow slings?

From: Beginner
Date: 11-Jan-22

Well done.

Great buck David. Did you get him in any of the areas we scouted together when I was in Green Valley? You've by all means figured out how those Desert Mulies live their life. Joel

From: David A.
Date: 11-Jan-22

Correct, Justin.

Joel, different area...a bit too crowded the last two yrs. unfortunately.

Ken, thanks and thx. to all others for compliments. The buck really deserves the credit...
