Hello, I have a quick question. I’ve been using true north arrow sealer over my wood arrow shafts and really like it. I’m just wondering to anyone who also uses it, what stains can I use with it? I know true north sells their own stain. Just wondering if you’ve found any other stains to be compatible with it. Thanks!

Just thinking, water based or oil arrow sealer? Stain should be compatable with the sealer. I would ask True North.

Lots of information on their website. Says just let stain dry 24 hours before dipping.

Thanks guys. I think it’s a water based sealer. Joe with true north said he only can recommend his stain because others may or may not work. I was just curious if others have found other water based stains to work fine. Sounds like if you let the stain dry at least 24 hours I should be good
