Lost track of the recurring giveaway on this book while I was in the mountains...where is it now?

Hopefully it keeps getting passed around. I’m the one that originally put it up for a drawing. Dirtnap was the first one to win it. I never thought it would be a pass along book , I’m sure glad he started it . Hopefully whoever has it now will pass it along !!

Sure glad I got it to read in the pass along. Hope a lot of other leatherwallers get to enjoy it also.

I have tried to enter ever time it was listed and hope it continues. I as well as many others would love the chance to read it before passing it down the line.

Jay was the real deal and left us much too soon. Jay lived by and practiced the highest ethics always. I have a signed copy of his book and three of his handmade broadheads that I am the temporary caretaker of that I really enjoy.

There are places to host these books online. If they are generating income for the family, or there is any copyright issue, it may not be doable, but at some point they should revert to the public domain, and ideally when it would mater.

I don't think we are paying rights holders when we buy a copy of the Witchery of Archery.

One thing that happens when people read that book today is they often are unhappy with the ethics of the authors who come off as though they shot everything that moved in Florida. Same will happen to 20th century authors whose ethics are far from in the norm, even if they are spotless in any reasonable sense. Traditional authors books might as well fall into the hands of a sympathetic audience while one can still be found.

Glad to hear it's still going around. Great stories in there, was quite the page Turner for me.

I would love to read it one day also, but at the rate I read it would probably take me a couple months.
