Well, the wife and I are on the move again after 5 years here in tornado alley. Sold our home in Oklahoma and headin' back to Apache Junction, Arizona. We will still work for another year or so, but really done with all the overtime. Time to slow down and smell the roses.... well maybe hike the Superstition Mtns., more knapping, hunting and of course stone carving. I would like to see if I could form a group out there similar to the Oklahoma Selfbow Society, we'll see. Till then I'll be lurking on my phone since my office PC will be shut down. These sausages on my lunchbox hands don't allow me to type. So if I can hold my phone far enough away to see the pictures. My friends, C-ya'll later. The weather is starting to be a little nicer and cooler a little. A good time to make your move. Apache Bowhunters range took a small hit with some flooding this year but I understand things are back up. Have you found TradCronies of Arizona on Facebook yet? I believe there are at least a couple guys into selfbow s on the page.

Best wishes on your move, but good choice. I lived near Branson for some years, and the tornados would run that highway out of OK into MO.over and over again. I could never figure out why people would stay around there after they got wiped out once. People were like, ya, we will rebuild. Forget that. Way too hot for hunting for me down there, but I`m a Mi. guy, and back now. Ive never been out west but sounds nice.
