Guess I won't compliment one's craftsmanship.

Why?

Crow...your pictures were too big. I know that and I'm not even Phil. Not a personal attack on you, and I really don't know why you would take it that way, or make this post instead of PM'ing Phil to ask why he took the post down.

Resize the pictures and put them back up.

I don't know I w who is who. Sorry for the wrong way I took it.Ive posted a few pics lately and no problem. Will try sizing all pics.

Crow, I cannot initiate PMs or I would have told you directly. Instead, I've commented on photo sizes on at least three of your posts after I deleted the photos. Photos need to be smaller than you are posting The forum rules say not to exceed 500 pixels but the common size of 640x480 works just fine. If you need help resizing the photos just ask Google. I use a Mac and can resize photo in Preview. I don't know any longer how to do it in Windows.

Phil Magistro is the moderator on the site. If you ever have a thread/topic closed all you have to do is send him a PM and he will tell you.

The most common reasons are pictures too big or somebody making a stupid/improper comment.

Ya..I'm computer stupid, and only have an I-phone...but to post a pic on here I figured out by trial and error how to resize the pics in the phones photo gallery! Took quite awhile to figure out whst was going on when I got an "error" message. Used to not be an issue on here...don't know what changed?

Thanks Phil . I just resized and posted. I'm not good with all this but will try and remember to size first.

Thanks. Once you figure it out you'll see how easy it can be.

One other thought - lots of folks take photos on their phone then post them here and they end up sideways. The reason is your phone shows them in one orientation and saves them in another. If you edit the photo on your phone, rotate it 360 degrees back the way you thought you took it, then save it you should be able to post it and have it show up correctly.

I use ms paint for resizing. Its very simple and straight forward. Right click on the pic and hit open with paint. At the top hit resize check to resize by percentage or by pixels. You only need do either top/bottom or the sides and the other will resize automatic in proportion.
