Anybody shooting this? It's designed for those of us with shorter draw lengths with a longer riser than the original. There doesn't seem to be much written about it.

Jim I have a SS 64” that shoots very well for me, the riser is about 21” to end of fade outs, made before Dan made the SSLR, and I don’t draw 28” and I was wondering too if the LR was much better, hope someone will chime in to tell the real difference, Also talk to Dan Toelke

"Also talk to Dan Toelke"

^^^^^^^^ This ^^^^^^^

The longer riser shortens the amount of working limb, but I'm guessing there is a little more that Dan has going on with it.

Thanks, I have talked to Dan. I am hoping to hear from some that have actually shot the bow. There is very little written about what folks impressions are.

Never even heard of it, and can't find it on his web site.

the only problem with talking to Dan is you will have an irresistible urge to buy one of his bows before you hang up...

Wow, I just looked at their inventory page and never seen a time with less than a dozen or more available bows.....there is none currently !!

I own 3 Toelke longbows; I have always wanted to try a Chinook and a SSLR.

Yea their wait time is up a little too. Worth the wait though.
