My daughter spotted this fella sneaking by while I was gutting my wife's first WT buck with a bow. "Dad... um there's a big rattlesnake."
He went into a brush pile so... I grabbed my new Wildcat and took the only shot he gave me. This shot pinned him to himself... and the ground. We left him to expire. We came back after quartering her buck and getting him on ice... he was still very much alive!
Rattlesnake chili here we come! His skin has been cleaned and is curing.

Nice shot. I hate snakes...I was always on the lookout when sneaking around the Wyoming prairie for Mulies. Glad your real happy with the Kempf Wildcat!
