Just returned from a twice postponed black bear hunt in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My buddy,Sam and I scored on two huge black bears. We hunted with Harry and Angie walker of Sandy River Outfitters, a first class operation!

Sure! I'm shooting a 58" PSRX 48# @ 28". CE Heritage 150's cut to 29.5" with an Abowyer RW single bevel 145gr broadhead. Got a complete pass through on my 385lb boar. Double lunged him! He walked off slowly to 40 yds and let out two really loud death moans! Job done!

I forgot to say I took the backstops and one ham from my boar. Lots of fat on him for sure! My wife and I trimmed the meat off one 1/4 of the ham and make an outstanding pot roast. Meat was tender and better than any beef cut you could imagine. Next to moose, bear is my favorite game animal!
