Hello, fellow LeatherWallers , I have two self bows that were given to me I was hoping y’all would share any knowledge of,both are 68 inches long tip to tip, selbows with, L.E Stemmler -Manorville, NY-stamped in the lower limb of each bow, One has 30 the other 35 below the writing,just curious to see what everyone might know about these bows, Thankyou, Bentstick

Sounds like early bows made by Stemmler Archery. They started making making bows around 1912. wsent out of business around 1977. The numbers are likely the draw weight.
With pictures folks might be able to provide more information.

Likely lemonwood bows, they literally made thousands of them. They really are of little value but if they aren't all dried up they may work fine for kids at 30 and 35 pounds.
