Somebody awhile back mentioned e6000 for fletching,I thought about it too and found some at Walmarts that works perfect. It's in the craft section.

I read up on it, and it says the minimum drying time is one hour on minimal/small applications.
How long did you have to leave it set before removing the clamp?

I leave mine clamped for 15 min, then turn using fletch tite, and wait overnight to use too, so thats normal if the glue holds up. In that first pic it looks like that shaft in the jig is not cleaned off good. Have to do a follow up post to say how good it works.

Do NOT use E6000, Gorilla Clear, etc for vanes: they will not stick. Ask how I know... :)
For feathers it works great on paint, wraps, and bare carbon. Not sure about bare aluminum. Also not sure how well the adhesive holds up in southern high heat, but it is fabulous (pliable) in frigid northern cold.

E6000 is my go-to glue for feathers on aluminum. Agreed with above, does not work great for vanes. Also, does not work for gluing plastic nocks on a swaged aluminum shaft. It's usefulness is somewhat limited for me, but for that one specific purpose (feathers on aluminum), it works better than anything else I've tried. I clamp for 10 minutes and then rotate to the next feather, never had a problem.
