Is it possible to turn a one piece ASL into a sleeve type two piece type takedown? It currently has a slight dish grip, but I’d prefer a straight grip anyway.

Are you talking about like a brass sleeve, or one of the fiberglass wrap system that black widow uses on their longbows? I believe Big Jim uses the fiberglass system too, and there is a YouTube video out there somewhere of him doing it. The video is of one that he is doing is before the riser is shaped, so it may not help, but it shows the process. I know the bow bolt is a system that is also used and has instructions on how to use the product on an existing bow. This is the system that St Patrick Lakes uses, and I believe he will only install and guarantee it on a g10 riser. The biggest challenge I can see with any retrofit is keeping everything square and lined up from beginning to end.

I currently have a bow bolt on a Liberty Edge. I have also had a sleeve type on a Black Widow PLX. The bow in question has an Osage riser. I will check out the videos, but probably best to leave it alone.

I have the same problem, irreplaceable bows that are 1 piece when I want 2 pieces.
