Looking at the Sauk archery Alcona takedown 58" recurve bow.Like the looks of it and the forward riser,nice ,,Anyone shoot one?.thanks Tom

Those bows do look nice.Have not heard much about them though.I have checked them out on the website and they looked very very nice .Might be under the rador.

Mike Roberts the bowyer is as good as any, and better than most. Hell of a good guy too. I don’t think I’ve shot an Alcona but have shot most of his line, all quality.

I had a 62" never shot the 58" but Mike does as good of job building as any bowyer out there, only sold mine to buy a non g10 bow but the deal went south when I realized it was a scammer.
