At least Leatherwall try’s to do something about them. Facebook on the other hand does nothing. I tried to notify them of scams that were obvious such as RV’s with multiple locations listed by the seller and nothing comes of it.

Well I did sell a bow a few weeks ago with no conversation other than our texts .It worked out I sent pics he said he would send me a money order he did it was good I sent the bow .I normally like to have a conversation but in this case it did not happen but he did have good history on here .So my point is what JBM says pound sand is not always right

If scam notifications for known scams are not listed in the classifieds some will still be scammed and the scammers won't go away if occasionally successful. Not all users of the classifieds check in here to see the scam threads. A few do this but most known scam listings are allowed to go on without being noted in the classifieds and the scamming continues.....

I agree but some of the threads I have read about scammers make very little sense to me because the seller says the buyer says he wants to send a check for more than the bow is worth or no clear correspondence and other red flags things then ask if you think its s scam.if quacks like a duck swims like a duck its a duck .

It's a shame they always try to scam with a Black Widow. Makes it difficult to sell one legit and scary as hell to try to buy one.
