Look at the fold at the bottom of the tube. Bohning used to stamp a date there because all their stuff had a one year shelf life.

Looks like the old tube before they changed formulas to accommodate water based finishes. That’s about 10 years ago or more. Didn’t know it had a shelf life.

For fletching and nocks before Platnium. It was better.

Designed for vinyl fletch, Bohning vinyl based paints, aluminum shafts.

I always thought that stuff was only hot melt.

No, no, it's not for fletching or nocks. It's for securing broadheads, field points, steel blunts, etc. to ferrules whether metal or just to the wooden shaft. You squeeze a few drop of Ferr-L-Tite into the broadhead ferrule and a few drops onto the arrow's ferrule part. Light a match to both pieces. It flames up for a few seconds until the solvent is burned off. Then, rapidly push the head onto the arrow's ferrule. Work quickly since it sets up right now. The stick type Ferr-L-Tite is much easier to use and gives you more time before it sets up. Wish George S. were still around for his comments. I first used it in the '60's.
