Each year one of my favorite things to do on here is celebrate other's successes. If you feel like including your bow/arrow specs as well, all the better!

Shot first deer of season yesterday evening, about 15 minutes of daylight left. Two different bucks fed around my blind for about 30 minutes but the bigger one would not give me a shot. They finally started leaving the small field and stopped to groom themselves. The bigger of the 2 turned broadside at 18 yds and I told myself I could make the shot. At impact it looked a little low ,but turned out to be top of heart. Sorry about bad picture it had started raining. Bear takedown 56" and 42# at 28"with ACE standard broadhead.
