One of several of our yard pets. This is not the biggest one!

The does are friendly. Bucks are not as trusting.

May as well just eat ‘em. If you put those on social media, they’ll just get poached anyway…..

WOW! ALL handsome creatures! As long as they cause NO problems then letting them live in the YARD should be OK. AS GF said? DO NOT POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA! Otherwise You might have to keep a smoke pole by the bed to discourage poachers????

This is Alabama? I'm in the wrong state! I know there are fine bucks in the deep south. My uncles used to gun hunt Mississippi every year. But that buck looks like he's packing on the pounds for an Alberta winter!

Nice John. I take the dog out every night at 9:30. I always make him head in the direction of the corner our mail box is located so he doesn't disturb the deer in the lot on the other side of my driveway that are there nearly every night.

We have the same problem around here...if it doesn't have a fence around it....or if it hasn't been doused with deer repellant...it's eaten down to the ground

I have all kinds of yard pets. My yard is the safe zone. Outside my yard isn't.

I’m with you Nemo. The deer get a pass on my property and they know it. Outside my property it’s a different ball game.

If I can't acutally walk up and PET them...well then..._______ Fill in the blanks.

We work at keeping deer out. Very destructive here. They also leave a lot behind.

Here is a yard pet ("LOL") my buddy had in his yard not far from my house. Not often but every now and then one cruises through my area.

Some would kill that tame buck and then say they killed it on public ground hunting on the ground.

Tame buck? LOL! Shot on private property, if I lived there. His eyes say "Don't even think about patting me on the head"

Are you sure the neighbor's Guernsey didn't knock down a fence?

He wouldn’t make it very long here where I live. The good ole boys would get him

This bull elk was in the yard at camp all winter until he dropped his antlers.

Any deer in my yard gets a pass. I use to go all over hells half acre bowhunting and my wife would send me pics of a big bucks laying next to the house behind the shrubbery hiding from the rifle hunters. LOL. He knew they wouldn't see him and I wouldn't shoot him Sometimes he had does laying in there will him. They get my respect. LOL

I live in a semi rural mostly wooded area and see deer in and around my yard usually everyday sometimes several times a day. Some of those does are fairly tame , like zoo animals . Turkeys almost as frequently, but varies thru the seasons. Over the last 20 years I have seen almost every wild animal that exists here in and very near my yard . One night a few years ago I heard some noise in my attached garage . I had forgot to shut the big doors after dark when I was in for the night and a bear was in my garage making a mess of my garbage . I have a large fenced in backyard that keeps my dogs in and wolves and coyotes out .
