This is very disconcerting…longtoke has posted a few times since the book was supposed to have been shipped to Jed, so he has seen the PM’s from Jed.
I also sent three PM’s that have gone unanswered
Fact is, I had to send him a message to initiate the draw a few weeks after he got the book…he had not finished it and claimed he did not understand that the book had to be passed along within a couple of weeks after receiving it, despite having entered a few times.
He did initiate a draw and drew Jed’s name but failed to announce the winner. No one would have known where the book was if Jed had not announced he was the winner.
It’s time for an update and an explanation….this signed copy is a LW heirloom and it is a matter of great concern that it has not been received…

Longtoke your good name is restored. I received the book in the mail and will be reading and either passing on or returning to the original owner according to his wishes. Looking forward to this read two of my nephews are on a Alaskan moose float hunt as we speak.

Jed…glad it finally arrived. When you are done with it please ship it back to me… interest seems to be waning…I propose to hold onto it for a while and restart the draws next year.
I will, of course, contact the original donor and get his opinion on what he wants done with the book.
