Started to dye some feathers for the fall using kool-aide.

Very nice.....only problem is that color disappears in the fall woods. Guess how I know :)

I don't know what it is, but I like the orange also.

We don't have to worry about fall here in Florida, everything is a bout the same color year around.

I use a quart jar put the lid on and roll it every day or so. The longer you leave them in the darker the color. >>>----> Ken

I'm all in on pink. Wonder what flavor would give up the pink?

Few drops of red food color in hot water with a bit of vinegar should get you a light red/pinkish color

I used gn dye. Curled up like pig tails.

I've been grinding a bunch of feathers. When I finish that I'm going to dye some several different colors. Working on colors I like for visibility in the woods on shots at animals. While they look good, I'm not a fan of pink or blue.
