At the stationery targets....a turkey was posted at about 50 yards and was facing away... the Amish archer....using a recurve put two arrows right in the backside of that turkey target. The woman standing next to him said to him..."that's amazing" ! And it was....

I shot a 3D course once and came up to a target and a lady with a compound bow was looking for her arrow. I helped her look for five minutes or so until she told me told me to not worry about her arrow and go ahead and shoot. I thanked her and then proceeded to make a perfect 40 yard quartering away deer shot with my recurve. She said “Nice shot!” in a way that was clear that she was impressed.

I thanked her and (all puffed up with pride) walked to the next station where I badly missed (or made terrible hits on) a closer, standing Bear, target three times in a row. Lol

Proverbs 16:18 "Pride is before a crash..."

I think we've all done it. Me, more than once I'm sure. LOL
