Is it just me or do other people almost addictively look for bows in the classifieds here or on eBay or elsewhere? Please tell me I’m not alone.

And people wonder why their thread gets closed.

Michael, Maybe not as avidly as you seem to, but I do check the classified here.

From: Lhskyguy

I’m the same way I’m always watching. Especially older cheap bows on eBay are easy to flip around here we have a traditional only draw hunt and it seam 60+% of the people that are drawn in do not own a trad bow never shot a trad bow (unless messing around with a buddies) and don’t know the first thing about them. But come 2nd week of June many people need one to shoot for their hunt. I’ll sell 50-100 dollar eBay bows sell them for 100-150 bucks tell them good luck watch the push on YouTube.

I’m always looking. At this point not much buying. I like to see bows that I’ve never seen before . Also like seeing all the different combinations of woods . Some bowyers are artisans at the top of their game.

From: Trying hard

Yes...I do look for bows for sale on the internet...a couple times a week.

From: fryguy

Daily Look if possible.

From: smrobertson

I do it all the time. Never stop looking.

From: Supernaut

I look all the time as well. I like to look at things that interest me if I don’t plan on buying them.

From: Tool maker
Date: 10-Jul-24

Yup. Can’t help myself

From: M60gunner
Date: 10-Jul-24

I look but not every day. Although I have a one bow list, used bow, I prefer new .

From: Ragnall
Date: 10-Jul-24

All the time. I'm currently "not buying anymore" but let the right one show up and see how long that lasts.

same here...I do not know why. My selfbows and BBOs shoot as well as anything I have ever owned, and I have owned a BUNCH of bows...it's just so much fun to try new bows! ...olddogrib~ sorry man, but not cool...

I do not need any more bows, but I always check the classifieds here every day at least once, because one never knows what pop up that you decide you "want"! This is the only place I check.

All the time. Best classifieds on the web

From: grizzly
Date: 10-Jul-24

Ebay a day but not very often the classified, sorry.

From: Lastmohecken
Date: 10-Jul-24

Yep, I am always looking, but what I need to be doing is selling a few bows, instead.

From: Corax_latrans
Date: 10-Jul-24

I’ll occasionally browse The List in hopes of finding a screamin deal on a Gem, but that’s it. My existing rack runs the gamut from a high #20s ambidextrous to low 60s, so I don’t even have need of a serious illness/rehabber bow…

So I could in fact be tempted to stray, but it’s not like I’m married to any of them…..

Yup I use to be just like you guys. Staying up in the early morning hours jumping around on all the used bow sites. I finally got off that though. But If I see one at a yard sale or flea market for a good price. Well I just can’t pass up a good bow;) But I definitely don’t look as hard as I used to.

I have looked everyday for a few years since My Grandson got Me shooting again. Have bought a Maddog, and two Yellowstone bows. My search for a 45# Howard Hill was answered last week on the classifieds here. It's scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I still have the Wesley Special and Sentman I bought from members here 25 years ago.

From: Witherstick
Date: 11-Jul-24

Honestly, I looked at the classifieds one time years ago out of curiosity. I’ve never looked again here or elsewhere. I have only owned a handful of bows over the last half century and all were bought new. They have been all I needed. Can’t say I’m much into collecting etc.

From: Hornsfan
Date: 11-Jul-24

Even after I ordered a new Black Widow PCH a few weeks ago, I still find myself browsing through the Classifieds or EBay.

From: ottertails
Date: 11-Jul-24

I have more bows than I need...but there are 3 in particular that has me checking the classifieds here a couple times a week.

From: mamba-ny
Date: 12-Jul-24

Always looking.I have had so many bows over the years I don't think I can remember them all.Th only thing that slowed me down was getting into ILF and warfs.

From: HuumanCreed
Date: 12-Jul-24

Always looking. Is there anything wrong with that? I also check out every GoodWill I come across.

From: Maclean Compton's Traditional Bowhunters

All the time. The struggle is real. I should probably seek professional help for this addiction.

From: Live2Hunt
Date: 12-Jul-24

Every day I check my local Craigslist. I have people that frequent thriftsales and second hand stores looking for recurves/longbows. I do check bow shops and classifieds on here, but I know I cannot find the deals as I would on the others.

From: Red Beastmaster
Date: 12-Jul-24

I hardly ever look at the classifieds. Used bows don't interest me much.
