What kind of critter do you think this is? This picture was taken on my son's farm. I'm thinking it's some breed of dog; a neighbor is convinced it's a bear.
So.... here's the actual trail cam pic.

If you take the pic to MSPaint, convert itto black and white and bump the definition up it looks like it has a good portion of its head in a white maybe 5 gallon bucket.
Was there a bucket sitting by the feeder leg?

I originally thought bear, but going by scale, either that feeder is gigantic, or the critter is small. I think it may be a fat house cat.
How tall are the legs on that feeder - 18", 36"?

How deep is that grass? Sure looks to me as if it has its off-side heel planted firmly on the ground, and there are only about 3 critters that will do that — raccoons, bears, and people.
So I’m tempted to say bear.
But the overall shape seems totally wrong, and it’s just about to lift that hindmost foot off the ground, so that at least partially explains the geometry on the forward of the hind feet. Also, there’s a light spot in the general vicinity of “neck” which could well be the white patch on the back of a bobcat’s ear, and there’s not enough information for my brain to convince me that I’m seeing a bear’s head, but I can imagine a bobcat head, looking at least partially toward the camera. There’s also enough hint of a tail and some white belly fur to suggest a bobcat.
So WAG-ing like a hungry Labrador, I’m gonna say it’s a good-sized and fully matureTom bobcat.

The flanks of a cat really stretch out/expand when the legs are extended like that.
I don't know much about bears, but I pretty much live with bobcats, and see them almost daily.
I'm not positive on my call, but I'll stick with cat until a better picture is produced to prove otherwise.

not a hog, missing the arched back shape, and no hog ever stood with back leg like that. and I don't see the fat rolly poly shape of a younger bear / cub there either. I'd think to see a bigger butt end if it was a bear. I'll stick with bobcat, EVEN though it appears borderline too bulky for one.

Also, from the picture we can only assume it is bob tailed.
There very well could be a long tail wrapped around the off side that we can't see. If that were known to be the case I would say mountain lion.
Absolutely "nothing" about it's body shape, or posture suggests hog to me. Quite the contrary actually.

Draven makes a compelling case for a bobcat, but it looks too blocky and the legs are too short for me to go there.

Jim I suspected the picture was the thumbnail image from the webapp due to it's low quality. Really interested in seeing the image from the camera card.
If indeed that animal is 20 yards from the feeder, then it is huge, in which case it could not be a cat unless saber tooth tigers are making a comeback.

Jim, I am not 100% sure is a bobcat, I am sure is a feline. My take is that feline was alerted by something under the feeder, hence the lowered body position that may trigger a "bulkiness" on a vey low details camera.

Jim, what's the height between the ground and the platform? It looks around 3'-4' max. What animal in the area has between 1'-6" and 2' height at shoulder? A bobcat is right at this height but still I have my doubts.
