I have an LCA scale and I find I have to zero out the scale after each time I weigh a bow. Otherwise it tends to increase the weight. It has to be user error.

This scale only measures peak. I am due for an up grade.

My x-spot scale I have to scale each setup 5 or 6 times and use the most-often-occurring pounds. it tends to have a high frequency of tossing out an odd number maybe 20 out of 100 times....often enough that it can't be trusted on a ONE-TIME-SCALING result. I use an old Pelouze/rubbermaid scale on my draw board.

I've never been able to get one of those dinky little scales to give me consistent reading.

Finally got me a 600# crane scale, and it works great.

Now I know what to tell my wife I want for my birthday. Then for Christmas I can get a 14 x 20 shed to put it in. :)

Rooty that should do the job perfectly. You might put a metal grommet in the eye for added safety or don't let the leather get old. I am going to make one of those. >>>----> Ken

Tune is close. Once I knock the rust off I'll adjust them.

That’s a good idea. I’ll be one making also. Thanks for posting.
