Good morning, I am trying to determine the date of manufacture of my super Diablo recurve. It is a left-hand 50 pound and the manufacture number is 8286. My concerned is whether or not it is suitable for a fast flight string Thanks in advance, Jerry

More pics would help, but I’m pretty sure it’s the 286th bow made in 1998. If it has the black phenolic tips it’s supposed to be ok with low stretch.

Anything from 95 forward is FF approved according to the guy who made a lot of them, Mr. Hatfield.

Thanks guys, it does have the black phenolic limb tips. 1998 sounds correct. It’s a good looking, point and shoot bow. I really like the hand grip with the shelf right over my knuckle. Jerry

It is a 1998...they quit making the Super Diablo shortly after that and replaced it with the Dreamcatcher.

Thanks for the info. My Dreamcatcher and my Super Diablo do look very similar and shoot as good as they look!

Lucky to find them, being a lefty!
