I’ve been doing a lot of blind bale shooting lately with using the BH as a clicker. I draw until the BH hits my knuckle, settle into anchor which lets the BH come slightly off my knuckle, then expand until the BH touches again and release as soon as it touches. It’s working really good.

My question is, does anyone know of a judo type head that I might be able to rig a barb or something to touch my knuckle similar to how I’m shooting my BHs?

Howard Hill is said to have done that. I was wondering how he did it with a field tip.

there is a "game stopper" collar that fits behind the head for small game I think it would work

I use the judo just like the BH. Cut the arrow so the spring arms hit the finger just like the BH. I also use 38 casings where I can feel the rim of the shell. Just have to cut the arrow the correct length.

"I was wondering how he did it with a field tip."...he actually drew the field point up onto the shelf and could hear and feel the "tick" when it got there is my guess. Works that way for me any how.

You can use a clicker.

I build up a ring of hot glue for a bumper or you could drill a small hole and put a ring nail through like I do for making homemade judos with 38 casings.

You can wrap electrical tape around the Judo at the length you need, you’ll feel the tape and it doesn’t effect flight or performance. I’ve been using the Ace Hex blunts this year and really like them, I think they fly better than the judo’s and I’ve not lost one in the leaves.

Here’s a pic of what I’m talking about, 5-6 wraps and there’s enough of a bump to feel with your finger.

A friend of mine uses a palm "clicker" that helps him a lot. I think its from Rocky Mtn Specialty Gear.

Hill style. I think I’ll give that a try. Thanks
