Well I finally got my new ThunderChild from Big Jim, it’s AWESOME!

Specs: #40 @ 29” My draw length is 30”

Dark Timber 600 spine arrows (full length) with 190 grain Simmons Interceptor broadheads.

Total arrow weight = 510 grains.

These arrows shoot like lasers! Never had a bow shoot so good.

Hopefully I’ll post some hunting results soon.

I own two of them and I love em both. I have a 54 inch 45 pounder (curly maple) and a 56 inch 48 pounder (Karelian Birch). I use the 54 incher in ground blinds. They both are killers. Centaur and Big Jim are my absolute "go-to" bows.

Why the hell didn't you put up a picture! Lets see it....

Simply Gorgeous!

May I ask what type of leather covers the grip?

From: Lonster
Date: 25-Nov-23

Mindful, The leather on the grip is snapping turtle.

"turtle leather"! I need to do that. Really nice. I have a pond with a grip .

I have herd that they make good primitive bow strings too.
