Par-X is my best guess but I have been unable to find a pic where it shows the two screws vertical.

Hope that a lot of TLC will see that BOW flinging arrows again??

Actually, with the aluminum limbs, I wasn't planning to shoot it. I might. I like those fine tips.

I had a parx years ago. Fifty eight years actually. It was given to me by an uncle who got it for his first archery hunt in the early '50's.

It was a doggy shooter. I think about 55# but any of my current 45# pound bows are quicker.

The stories about limbs breaking and schwacking the shooter had me putting it aside. Don't know what became of it.

Yep, a lot of warnings on the breakage out there. I have no idea on the weight, as there is no writing left...just the remnants of a red and gold decal.

Give a pic of the decal remnants, it may help. I doesn't look like Grimes, but if it was they often engraved the specs on the side of the limb butt.

Not much of it left but here it is. I see no engraving as it is. I was going to try breaking it down and cleaning it up like Batman suggested, so I will be able to see if there is anything deeper down in the handle. I have been hesitant to crank on those screws though.

...and here is a pic I found online, which I thought looked similar.

I broke it down and the limb butts have 0 51 and 1192 beneath that. The rise had engraving on the lower right side; specs written as 55# 28" and 58". It also had the 1192 on it. Those handles are hollow. Each limb has the two screws and two alignment pins inside plus a snug fit to the handle.

Very cool. I’ve had one of those hanging in my basement for years, have always been afraid to shoot it.
