I still use a 50 year old Bear stringer and made one a bit larger that works better with longbow tips.

I'm still using a Bear Archery Three Bear Bowstringer I got in 1974. I have two of them, one is still in the package. My Dad bought me the bowstringer when he bought me my 1974 Bear Grizzly.

Not leather but the Webster is a very good stip to tip stringer.

Another vote for the Webster. I routinely use it barefooted.
