Iowa Traditional Bohunters Society shoot is this weekend. Just wondering who all will be there. Love to put a face with a name. I'll be wearing my (Soap Creek) shirt. Come up and say hello. Maybe we can fling a few arrows together. Greg

Used to go every year, but have been since they moved in from Ames.

Should read “moved it from Ames”.

Back then, Lamont from The Footed Shaft, used to setup. Always a pleasure to purchase some things and talk to him. He was a great guy!

Last year we attended the shoot in Greencastle, PA. Obligations had us going to MN this year. So, we stopped in and shot with the Iowa traditional archers. Had a great time. The targets were in fantastic shape and set up in varying fashion. The crowd looked decent in number. I would say that it might be nice if shooting stakes were added to the course so as to make it clear the maximum distance and the line the hosts were considering for each target. But, it is definitely another shoot going on to the radar. Well done.

I agree so much with having a stake line. Can be a serious safety issue.
