Anyone know of a source for the rubber gripper for the old 8-arrow model quiver?

Phil: I don't think Bear ever made replacement grippers and have never seen any after market ones. 3Rivers has them for the old leather top 4 arrow.

Thanks Bob, There were a couple of guys mentioned on FaceBook but I don't have their names. There was also someone that made a lot of Bear items, like the little bears that go on the latches, along with 8-arrow grippers but I cannot find his contact info.

Thanks Frank, that was one of the guys I was thinking about.

M60 - I'm glad your photo got mixed up. I don't think I'd find that guy from that view. :)

Jeff Nowak on Traditional Bear Archery Group(Facebook) makes replacement grippers for both 4 and 8 arrow quivers.

I messaged Jeff earlier today and he's looking. I'm tempted to find some belting and make my own but I don't want to buy a big conveyor belt. :)

Conveyor belt won't work well, it has belting inside for strength. Quarter inch gasket rubber would work.

Thanks Jeff. I had one in the past made dormo conveyor belt and the belting made it difficult. I don’t recall who made it. Gasket rubber sounds much better.

I got a square ft of gasket material on amazon that worked alright.

What thickness?

I seem to remember black rubber(??) material 2"W x 1/4" thick was used for the seal on pickup toppers. If a material doesn't seem thick enough use 2 layers... it even grips better.

Lots of guys have the replacements made from conveyer belt. He's a good guy too.
